Below, you will find a proposed shooting programme for the summer season. There are several regular features. Once a month for compound and recurve we will shoot a Short Metric, for the postal competition; once a month we will shoot a National-style round, so that Junior archers can put forward their scores for the Yorkshire Nationals, and the GNAS July Nationals.

There are also old favourites, like the Nock, and the Strawberry shoot. We are also repeating the American round, so that we can put forward our effort for the GNAS American annual award; we have chosen to do this near July 4th, just so we can have an excuse for a barbecue.

For outside tournaments, we would like to encourage members to enter en masse to some events. We have selected a couple in the early season, and would welcome suggestions for other target events. I have also added a few Clout events.

Details of these, and other external tournaments, are kept in the competitions book, which is kept under the stage in the indoors season, and in the inner sanctum in the summer.

Of course, this programme is not binding on anyone. If you want to shoot a York on a Short metric day, feel free. If you are on time, everyone will help you set up your targets; if you are late, you will have to fit in around those already shooting.

	Adel	Tournaments		Tuesday evenings are used for formal coaching sessions. Anyone interested in taking part should contact the Coaching officer	Wednesday evenings are used for individuals to shoot formal rounds. Anyone wishing to practice may do so, but must follow the "rhythm" of round shooters.	Thursday evenings are used for "Improvers and "Beginners" sessions. Anyone wishing to shoot a formal round must be prepared to be delayed by coaching needs
	Sunday mornings at 11:00 are for improvers and coaching. When an early start for a long round is designated, those shooting the round must follow the rhythm of the improvers.	Tournaments
